Message from the president

"Financing R&D in Europe is our specialty and we have been doing it for more than 20 years. Thanks to our French, Spanish and Portuguese experience, our pragmatism and operational analysis has enabled us to successfully work on behalf of over 4000 companies to date. Our scientific and technical teams composed of engineers and PhD, have the open-mind characteristic of youth and experience of several years with our customers. They are constantly improving our expertise to offer the best possible results

• 1989 :  Starting up of the activity for French companies within the framework of the three-year and five-year plans of "Research and Development Tax credit" by Frédéric Bouté, founder of F. initiatives then F.Iniciativas in the late 90s.
   
• 1998 : Premises of the activity of F.Iniciativas, European consulting firm for the valuation and the financing of the R&D.
   
• 2000 : Creation of F.Iniciativas with headquarters in Barcelona (Spain).
   
• 2004 : F.Iniciativas obtaines the Quality certification ISO 9001 (2000 version).
   
• 2006 : New office opened in Lisbon (Portugal). F.Iniciativas translates and publishes the Portuguese version of the Frascati Manual in association with the OECD.
   
• 2007 : More than 50 employees and a turnover of 10 million Euros. Spanish regional offices created.
   
• 2008 : F.Iniciativas crosses a new threshold of growth with over 105 employees and 17.5 million euro turnover. New office opened in Oporto.
   
• 2009 : F.Iniciativas translates and publishes the Basque Catalan version of the Frascati Manual.
   
• 2010 : "F.Iniciativas" celebrates its 10 years. The group maintains a very strong growth and continues its development in Belgium, the USA, Brazil and Canada, by opening offices in each country. Our global workforce now has over 200 people including 180 engineers.
